Vertical Bench Magic
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14409)
Bench set-up= vertical. Most of the steps are done at the back end of the bench.
- (8) 2 A-steps: right lead
- (8) Combat kick: step up right (1), kick left (2), step back diagonally left (3) - right (4) - left (5), kick right (6), step towards back end of bench right (7) - left (8)
- (8) Figure 8: same format as combat kick, but instead of kicks on counts (2) and (6) do a knee lift while pivoting on standing foot
- (4) Inner thigh lift: step up right, touch left heel with right hand, step down left, touch right heel with left hand
- (4) Sideout: step up right, kick out left leg
- (4) 2 Stomps: right foot on bench
- (4) Helicopter, exit step: step right foot, swing left leg around back end of bench, exit both feet from step with weight on right foot
- (4) 1 Squat: left foot on bench
- (8) Up & lunge: left lead: step up-up (1-2), lunge on each side of the bench (3-6), exit down left-right tap (7-8)
- (4) 1 Glute lift: right lead, left extension back
- (4) Diagonal slice: on step: right (1) - left (2), on ground: right (3) - left (4)
- (4) Heel digs/toe digs back: weight on left, dig right heel (1)- continue by alternating this step for four counts
Self-reversing combo!!...now try it on the left ;)
