Batwing Baby
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14324)
Hi, I've been using this site for a long time and have used loads of patterns! I thought it was about time I gave
something back. This is a simple but fun routine - enjoy!
Block 1
- Grapevine diagonal to the right and back again
- Batwing on the spot x 2 (heel toe, raise the knee, whilst raising the knee, lift both arms like a puppet - high impact!)
- Grapevine diagonal to the left and back
- Batwing x 2 on the spot
Block 2
- After the Batwing:
- Kick forward x 4
- Kick back x 4
- Lunge to the side x 8
- Double lunge to the side x 4
- Lunge back x 8
- Double lunge back x 4
Block 3
- After lunging:
- 2x Side steps hop in the middle right and left x 4
- Slow hop each leg, arms - slow bicep curls
- Fast hop each leg lifting knees double the speed of bicep curls
- Knee lifts forward x 4
- Knee lifts back x 4
Step touch for a rest!
Repeat from the top
Start off with Block 1, then add Block 2. Do Block 1 and 2 together and then add Block 3 and
repeat until they've had enough. My class love this and the Batwing is great fun (my invention!)
Enjoy!
