Alphabet Step:
- A = A-step
- B = Basic, basic lunge (also known as split lunge)
- C = Corner, corner, curb walk*
- D = Diagonal, double knee (2 knee repeater, 4 counts)
- E = Extension
- F = Flamingo, figure 8**, funky repeater (any variation)
- G = Grapevine, glute swing***
- H = Ham curl, hop-turn,
- I = I-step, indecision (straddle, exit front)
- J = Jack, jumpshot (knee with hop), basic jog, jumprope, jack slide jack (8 counts)
- K = K-step, kick
- L = Lateral raise, lunge, L-step
- M = Mambo
- N = Knee
- O = Over
- P = Pivot, pendelum swing, turn walk the plank, power step
- Q = Quick feet
- R = Repeater, rock lunge, revolving door
- S = Squat, scissors, superman****, shuffle, stride
- T = T-step, turn
- U = U-turn (turn, straddle,turn)
- V = V-step
- W = ?
- X = X-step
- Y = Y-step (V-short corner of bench, lunge back 2, 8 counts)
- Z = Z-step (step touch bench, then floor 8 counts)
* Curb walk: Start on short end but facing (N) front of step, right foot stomps on bench, then off in front of the bench, then back on bench, then on floor behind bench (8 counts) Like a mambo but stepping forward first, then back.
** Figure 8: Reverse hop-turn into a straddle, again (8 counts) end in straddle
*** Glute swing: Right foot on bench, swing left behind while going over the top.
**** Superman: Extension with hop and while circling arms
Turn walk the plank: Turn straddle (1-4), straddle again (5-8), two knees on bench (9-12), tap floor with right foot (13), knee (14), then exit (15,16)
