Combo 1
- Revolving door (8 counts) or 2 basics for beginners
- 1 X mambo (4 counts), 1 glute squeeze to change lead leg (4 counts)
- Kick corner to corner X 2 (8 counts) OR stomp the bug
- V-step X 2, or a variation on two V-steps
Combo 2
- Corner to corner hamstring curl X 2 (8 counts)
- Split lunge (8 counts)*
- Knee repeater or some variation on a repeater (8 counts)
- Over the top and back (8 counts)
* Step up right/left then lunge back right/left exit right OR step up right/left then lunge to the side right/left exit right facing the back of the room. If you use the side lunge version you will start the combo on the left lead facing the back of the room.
Combo 3
- 1/2 Of an L mambo, 1 basic right on the short end (8 counts)*
- Skip** X 1 facing the side wall (8 counts),
- Knee straddle X 2 left/right (8 counts)
- Kick corner to corner facing front (8 counts)
* 1/2 L mambo, basic--step at the corner with the right foot, left foot steps on the floor, right foot crosses behind the left, left foot steps on the floor, right foot starts the basic on the short end of the step
** Skip--step up right, lift the left knee then step on the bench with the left foot, then right knee, step on the bench then left again. Step off the bench (left) after the third knee lift.
All combos assume a right lead and repeated left. They are self-reversing and tapless.
