Rockin' Spin (All Classic Rock)
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14622)
My class loves this mix! It ROCKS!
My first two times using it I called out people's names in the class and they had to pick the profile for that song.
- Gimme Some Lovin (Spencer Davis Group) warm up 2:56
- Movin It On Over (George Thorogood & The Destroyers) figure 8 at 70% resistance 4:19
- Gimme All Your Lovin (ZZ Top) standing climb starting at 70% and increasing resistance every minute 3:59
- Mama Kin (Aerosmith) 4 sets of jumps (20 jumps in a set) 4:26
- Shattered (Rolling Stones) speed work in the saddle 3:47
- Dancing in the Dark (Bruce Springsteen) 80% constant resistance with a faster cadence, start off 2 minutes in the saddle, then come out. 4:02
- Runnin Down A Dream (Tom Petty) resistance at 60%, fast pace in the saddle, the running it up to P2 during the chorus 4:23
- Gimme 3 Steps (Lynyrd Skynyrd)- double time on chorus, 70% resistance. (I like to to do this standing)
- China Grove (Doobie Brothers Live Version) start in the saddle, up to P2, then P3, then take it low over the saddle - all on a 4 count, then speed it up when there is about 1:30 left so you're cueing Up, Out, Low, Down and that's the pace - this is a great interval. 3:57
- R.O.C.K. in the USA (John Cougar Mellencamp) one legged drills or can start to climb or a double time 2:55
- Bad to the Bone (George Thorogood & The Destroyers) - seated climb starting at 75% and adding in every minute 4:49
- Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin) long climb starting in the saddle at 80% adding in, then periodically taking down the resistance for 30 seconds, then adding back, coming out of the saddle and finish strong at 90% resistance for last 45 seconds.
- Share the Land (The Guess Who) cool down/stretch on bike
- First Cut is the Deepest (Rod Stewart) stretch off bike
- Desperado (The Eagles) mood
This is for a 1 hour class. I always have music playing when people leave so we usually have a full song as people are packing up and leaving the room.
