Groovy Steps

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 14646)

My class and I had a lot of fun doing this routine last week. Please email me with any questions.

Explanations:

*Turn-double pump (assume a right lead): Begin like a regular turnstep. Right foot steps up on end (1) Left foot steps up on other end (2) Right foot taps floor below left foot (3) Right foot does two repeater curls (4-6) step to floor right then left (7-8)

** V-swoop is a regular V-step and then a mambo cha-cha. Mambo to the front on the step and cha cha on the floor. Switches lead.

*** One jack on the floor, on knee to the front, one more jack on the floor.

**** Kick to the edge (assume right lead): Step up to the corner with right foot and kick with left (1-2) Step to floor and pivot so your back is now diagonally in front of the corner you just kicked to (3-4) Take one step on the floor with the left foot and kick with the right foot (5-6) Pivot back to the center, facing the front (7-8)
