Shallow Water Warm Up
This is an
Aquatic pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14562)
Start everyone out in the shallow water.
- Jog forward 8
- Jog back 8
- 2 Side steps right
- 2 Side steps left
Now, add on:
- Jog forward 8, 4 cross country skiier
- Jog back 8, 4 cross country skier
- 2 Side steps right, 4 jacks
- 2 Side steps left, 4 jacks
Add on again:
- Jog forward 8, 4 cross country, 8 fast front kicks, 8 fast back kicks.
- Jog back 8, 4 cross coungty, 8 fast front kicks, 8 fast back kicks.
- 2 Side steps right, 4 jacks, 4 jacks withknee,4 jacks withback kick.
- 2 Side steps left, 4 jacks, 4 jacks withknee,4 jacks withback kick.
Keep adding on:
- Jog forward 8, 4 cross country, 8 fast front kicks, 8 fast back kicks, 8 jump shots (high jumps with arms).
- Jog back 8, 4 cross coungry, 8 fast front kicks, 8 fast back kicks, 8 jump shots (high jumps with arms).
- 2 Side steps right, 4 jacks, 4 jacks withknee, 4 jacks withback kick, 8 pendulum swing
- 2 Side steps left, 4 jacks, 4 jacks withknee, 4 jacks withback kick, 8 pendulum swing.
Keep adding on until the class cant remember any more and then start taking moves away until you are left with the basic. You can add can-can kicks, plie squat jumps, side shuffles, etc.
