Dance Intro
This is a
Funk pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15122)
This pattern was an intro I used to one of my funk routines -
Class begins facing back of the hall with feet apart...
- 1-4 Turn head to left, 2 hips, step feet together
- 5-8 Step feet apart again, turn head to right, 2 hips
- 1-2 Jump and cross right foot over left, jump them apart again
- 3-4 Jump cross left foot over right, spin turn to face the front
- 5-6 Kick right leg out to side (punch right arm along leg at the same time), pull knee into chest and place foot down
- 7-8 Throw arms up to chest height and then again up to head height
- 1-4 Step ball change forward twice (right leg lead, then left leg), hands begin at head height but push them out to the side with this move
- 5-8 Jump feet together (clasp hands), jump feet apart and lean fowrard at same time (keep hands clasped but extend arms down to the floor), circle hips around
- 1-2 Throw both arms out to right side and hold for count 2
- 3-4 Throw left arm out to left side and at the same time circle the right arm over head so that it ends up crossed over the left arm, hold for count 4
- 5-6 Repeat this to the right side so that both hands are crossed over and hold for count 6
- 7-8 Punch both arms down by your side and nod head on count 8
You are now ready to begin whatever routine you have made up. If I get a chance I'll add in the routine which I initially taught with this intro but who knows when that will be :)
Any problems understanding any of the moves just email me
