Almost tapless hi-lo

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from (pattern 15360)

Combo ONE:


SO: hustle up,tap, side grapevine backwards facing the left wall, continue (NO TAP) walking in a small circle back to front and V-step.

Teaching it, helps to say: hustle up and TAP, walk back and DON'T TAP for 8 more counts. Then move into the grapevine/turn/V-step.

Continue by repeating on the left lead.

COMBO TWO: even harder to explain:

Finished product, right lead:

Step out to left (1), 1 hamstring right (2), step out to right (3) one hamstring left (4) into immediate double rear lunge...left (5-6-7-8). (shoot out left leg right from the second ham curl)

Advanced variation on this: Swing to face the back wall with the ham curls on counts 3/4 so your rear-lunge is done facing the back wall, then swing back and face the front and do it again, your rear lunge facing the front...same leg lunging.


Believe it or not this will end you up on a left lead to start the PIVOT to the back and pony from there. Good luck; this ain't easy. I stole some of it from a video and I can't remember which one, but thanks to whoever it was!
