Triple Front Kick Drill

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 15361)

This pattern comes right out of my own karate training at dojo. It works best if music is pitched no higher than 140bpm. The emphasis on maintaining form is's what will make them sweat!

Start in front leaning stance: left foot forward, right leg behind straightened with foot at 45 degree angle. Encourage a deep lunge with weight 50/50. Hands up in chamber.

Slow tempo (each move 4 counts)

I usually have the class repeat this on the same side 4x at this tempo. Then I ask them to repeat this combo in half the time (8 counts) 4x reminding them to always strive to return to that deep lunge position in between each kick!

Repeat on opposite side.
