Hello everyone...this is what I've been using for my kickboxing classes lately. I've mixed and matched from what I've found on this site. Thanks for all your help!
These are high-impact, building combos, 32 counts each, anywhere from 134 to 140 BPM
*Scissor legs: this is just a switchfoot jumping jack with no arms..tell them to jump so that they cross right leg behind left, then open legs, then left behind right, then open. (it's quick...cross open cross open)
To cue this combo:
"double right, double left, cross open cross open
move up, and jab, jab, jab, jab,
jack and roundhouse right, jack, roundhouse left
To cue this:"jab, jack, jab jack
kick low, kick high, kick low, kick high
shuffle right, elbow, cross
shuffle left, elbow, cross
Put both of them together for a long 64 count combo if your class is up for it. I usually teach the first, then the second, and then merge them. It's balanced, so no need to reverse it for the right or left sides. Email me if you have any questions! Keep the box aerobic patterns coming pleaaase!!
