Hi-Lo-- simple and fun
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14987)
This is a pattern I use all the time when I sub---it's easy to understand and fun and also easy to add variety.
Combo One
- Walk up right (4)
- Tap out side right and left (5-6-7-8)
- Walk back
- Tap out right&left
- 4 Taps right "around"= right foot taps front (1), side (2), back (3), together (4) = (4)
- Grapevine right (4)
- Mambo left
- Pivot left= (8)
- Walk up left (4)
- Tap out side left & right (5-6-7-8)
- Walk back
- Tap out left & right
- 4 Taps around left= (front, side, back, together--as above)
- Grapevine left
- Mambo right
- Pivot right (8)
Combo Two (add on)
- Diagonal walk to right corner BOTH arms circle overhead in an arc (like you are drawing a half-circle overhead) same to left corner= (8)
- Step-touch back 4x right-left-right-left (8)
- Ham curls single moving forward (8)
- Single/single/double moving back (8)
- Repeat walk on left.
Simple but fun...makes a good warm up but also for more intensity or in the middle of a class for a filler, replace the early "tap right and left" with jacks x 2 and replace the walks with jogs...and you can turn the jogs as a 4-count jog-turn-up! (quick 4 count turning jog)
