This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 14892)

- (right) Front sole touch to corner, (left) Side lift to other corner (right) Hamstring curl to other corner (12)
- (left) Double chug on step, left foot then right foot, (10)
- (left) Single chug on step, left foot then right foot (6)
Repeat from left basic or go on
32 counts
- (left) 2 Knee repeater ending in a straddle, (right) 2 Knee repeater exiting off the front of the step, (left) Basic or running basic or 2 jacks to complete the count (16)
- Repeat that move to return to the back of the step (16)
Repeat from beginning or move on
32 counts
- (left) 3 L-steps, first on right end with lunge, second one off left end with knees, third one off right end with kicks. (24)
- (right) Kick on, Heel off (8) (completes the count)
32 counts
- (right) Weave over, rock and weave back (8) (left) Up up, lunge left, right, exit left, right (indecision basic) (8) Can practice from weave rock left, or go on
- (left) Shuffle, straddle, (right) Knee exit off front of step (8) Turning in towards the step
- (left) On floor facing back, mambo-on the cha cha cha, shuffle left, right, left moving around the end of the step (8) End up on the back of the step with your right side towards the step.
32 counts
- (right) Turnstep 3 x then face the back of the room and Grapevine (16) If people do not want to grapevine, just have them turn a fourth time, they will end up the same place.
- (right) Chug on step, floor to the front, step and mambo back (8)
- (right) Hop turn over (4)
- (right) Straight over (4)
Can repeat from the turnstep left lead to practice
This next one is fun, but kind of tricky since it involves using the outside leg which people are not used to doing and also getting back to the side of the step to go across the top. I start out with (4) corner knees (left, right, left, right) and then show them move
32 counts
- (left) 3 Knee repeater ending up off right end (8)
- (right) OUTSIDE leg V Swoop, to other end and pivot (8)***
(1) Right leg (outside leg) crosses in front of left and steps on bench (2) Left leg steps WIDE on bench like V-step (towards the left end) (3) Right leg exits to floor behind left foot (4) Left foot to floor next to right foot (5,6,7,8) Full pivot on floor return to facing front. You should be off the left end.
- (right) Walk or jog forward (4)
- (right) Walk, jog, or jacks back (4) Make sure you end up next to the step* (right) Cross the step the long way (4)
- (left) Knee exit (1/2 "L") (4)
16 counts
- (right) Windmill repeater (Rear extend, windmill arms) (8)
- (left) Pivot on floor (4)
- (left) Mambo on step
If they have a hard time with this, do this to the corners first. Practice repeaters to corners, then do repeater to one corner and 2 basic steps. Beginners can stay with the 2 basic steps, more advanced can replace the basics with pivot and mambo ending up facing the front.
Repeat from beginning left basic
