After the class has properly warmed up, I let them visualize that we are at a ski resort, I tell them that the lift is broken and they need to run up the mountain having them leaning forward and pumping the arms. When they almost see the top of the mountain I tell them to double time and sprint up, shorter range of motion, faster speed. Once they have reached the top of the mountain I tell them to start skiing down. I have them stay over the lines that are on the bottom of the pool and I tell them to visualize moguls and have them go side to side. Moguls down finish skiing to the bottom, lift still broken and repeat.
