Sonia's ABC's of Step (Routine LL)

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 14900)

Vertical step. 32 count, tapless, self-reversing, intermediate level combinations. Begin with a right lead on the left side of the step. Right/Left designates the lead foot. (number) in parenthesis indicates the counts to execute the move. Footwork follows.

Combo 1

Repeat left

Combo 2

Repeat left

Combo 3

Combo 4

Repeat left

Combo 5

Repeat left

*Vertical I-step:
1-4) step up right/left, straddle down right/left.
5-6) step up right/left.
7-10) pony 2x moving forward (cha cha cha on top right/left).
11,12) straddle down right/left.
13-16) step up right/left, exit the step right/left turning to face the step.

**Turnstep freeze:
1,2) up right/left for a turnstep.
3) right foot to the floor, left pulls off step at the same time.
4) freeze (hold) for one count - clap overhead to keep the beat.

^^Note: instead of the march forward left/right try a turn away from the step. You really begin to turn around the right shoulder as you shuffle right on 1&2, then the left foot steps across - keep turning right and step forward as you come out of the turn.

***Double knee, walk to the side:
1-4) step up right, repeat the left knee 2x.
5,6) step down left and step out to the side right.
7,8) walk forward left and right.
