We all know how fun it is to discover new ways to spell out words during step class... Here's a great one for Double Step beginners (or veterans) that my friend Leigh Ann came up with:
The steps are vertical. The step on the left is Home. The step on the right is Away. Participants start on the left side of the Home step (@) with a right-foot lead.
xxxxx xxxxx
xxxxx xxxxx
xxxxx xxxxx
xxxxx xxxxx
@ xxxxx xxxxx
The goal of this 32-count combination is to spell M-A-L-L.
Repeat from right side of Away step with the left foot.
*An M-step is two A-steps in a row travelling Home to Away or Away to Home. The two A-steps create a letter M!
