This is a
Double Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15246)
Bench 1: horizontal in front of you; bench 2: vertical to your right (steps touch at the corners). All 32-count, self-reversing.
1.
- V-step x 2 (right) (8) (one on the bench, one behind you on the floor)
- I-step (right) (8) (up and jack, down and jack)
- Repeater weave (right) (8)
- Walk/shuffle around to bench 2 (left) (4)
- Mambo on bench 2 (left) (4)
2.
- Stomp right and left (6)
- Up up (facing west) one side lunge, straddle down, "pop" up to exit* (r/l) (10)
- L-step (right) (8)
- Basic on bench 1 (left) (4)
- Basic on bench 2 (left) (4)
3.
- Split basic (right) (8)
- Travelling kicks (right/left) (8)
- Kick, walk walk back to bench 2, (weave) over the top (right/left) (8)
- Shuffle/walk around (right) (4)
- Knee (right) (4) (on bench 2; then face bench 2 for split basic with a left lead)
4.
- Skip up for 3 (3 knees on the step) (right) (8)
- Pump pump revolve (two left stomps, and 1/2 revolving door) (left) (8)
- Travelling side legs (left/right) (8)
- 3/4 Revolving door TO BENCH 2 (left) (4)
- Basic on bench 2 (left) (4)
*Pop to exit: from the straddle position, left leg comes up on the step (count 7) right leg comes up and OVER the step behind left as your left foot pivots to face the front (count 8) right foot steps down, facing front (count 9) left foot comes down, facing front (count 10). The whole 10-count move is a "lunge,straddle,pop" - reminiscent of a certain cereal (I know, booooo..)
