Sonia's Wild Cards VIII (Cardio Interval Class)

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 15033)

For a description of this class see routine 14225. This can be used as a step routine without the intervals as the combos are designed to flow together. You can do this class without letting them select the cards also.

Horizontal step, 32 count, self-reversing, tapless, basic to intermediate level combos.

Combo 1 (used this for the warm-up too)

Repeat left

Wild Card 1

On the step. Double time basic runs. Switch leads at 30 seconds. Low impact slows it down.

Combo 2

Repeat left

Wild Card 2

On the floor. Can can: step right with a hop and knee lift left, left touches down, left kicks. Alternate sides. Low impact: No hops.

Combo 3

Repeat left

On the step. Jump shots: alternate jump shots to the corners - get some air. Low impact: keep the stepping foot on the step and just raise up on the toe - still shoot the basket overhead.

Combo 4

Repeat left

Wild Card 4

On the floor. Jolly jogs: jog up high for 8 counts, jog down low for 8 counts, double time it for 16 counts. Low impact: big marches high, low, and fast.

Combo 5

Repeat left

Wild Card 5

On the step. Hoppin' jack: step hop right with left knee up, step hop on top left with right knee up, exit right/left, 1 jack (8 counts total). Repeat alternating leads. Low impact: no hops, releve instead of Jack.
