Fuzzy Dice

This is a Cycling pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 15061)

Here is something we did in my last class, for a change of pace.

In our club, our cycles are arranged in a circle, with everyone facing each other.

I brought 2 large fuzzy dice to class (which I bought in the Walmart automotive section), and while we were doing jumps, each person got to toss the dice onto the floor in the center of the circle. The number that came up was the number of rotations that we did for jumps (for example, if they rolled the number "5", then we did 5 standing cycles and 5 seated cycles). We would do this about 1 minute, then I gave the dice to the next person, etc.

I started using two dice, then to make it more challenging, I took away one dice, so they could only roll between a 1 and a 6 (tough when they roll multiple "1"s in a row!)

Everyone really enjoyed this, and enjoyed throwing the dice down. I hope you can use it!
