Polar Power Kickboxing

(pattern 15191)
I was getting a little bored teaching kickboxing blocks that didn't build into a routine. These blocks are square (32 counts) so more energy is created because you can start at the top of the music's phrase. Teach the first block, then the second, and put them together - then add the third & fourth. As you're teaching, make sure to balance right and left leads.
Block #1
- Right jab X 4 (8)
- Left cross X 4 (8)
- Jab, cross X 4 (16)
- Jab, cross, duck X 2 (8)
Block #2
- Squat right front kick X 2 (8)
- Squat left front kick X 2 (8)
- Squat right side kick X 2 (8)
- Squat left side kick X 2 (8)
Block #3
- Shuffle forward right front kick, left cross (8)
- Shuffle back right roundhouse, left uppercut (8)
- Repeat (16)
Block #4
- Right elbow strike, right up block x 2 (8)
- Right snap kick, right roundhouse x 2 (8)
- Right elbow strike, right up block x 2 (8)
- Right snap kick, right roundhouse x 2 (8)
Please contact me if any part of this doesn't make sense to you. Does anyone else teach this way? I'd love to get your patterns. :)
