Its Been Awhile

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 15494)

Its been awhile since I posted a pattern. Thank you to all who do. Here's some combos that have gone over well in class.

Combo #1 64 self-reversing

Combo #2 32 self-reversing

Combo #3 32 self-reversing

Combo #4 64 self-reversing

EXPLANATIONS:

* Turn lunge lunge 8 count lead change
Starting out like a regular turnstep (1,2) Lunge right to the side (3) back on top of the step (4) Lunge left to the side (5) back on top of the step (6) step down right (7) tap down left (8)

** Windmill straddle: repeater glute lift with big circular arm movements

*** 3 mambos/1 knee:
1 mambo on bench cha cha away (1,2,3&4) 1 mambo to the back of the room cha cha back (5,6,7&8) 1 mambo, rock back, on the floor next to the bench (next to the corner where you did you first mambo) (9,10,11,12) now step on the bench and do 1 corner knee (13,14,25,16). This move is great if you have the room to really use the floor.

**** Test the water L-step:
Step knee (1,2) just like a regular L-step starts.
left foot touches down on the floor to the side of the step (3)
left knee lift (4)
left foot touches down on the floor to the side of the step again (5)
left knee lift (6)
step down back home left/right (7,8)
I call it test the water L-step because it looks like your putting your toe into a bath or a pool 2x to see how the water feels.

As always email with questions.
