Basketball and Football Hi/Lo!
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.

Here's a fun one that participants seem to enjoy...I usually use it at the end of a hi/lo class.
Have participants get into a circle:
- Shuffle to the right for 8 steps (8) (high impact - full shuffle; low impact - drag your feet)
- Shuffle to the left for 8 steps (8)
- Run or march on the spot, raise one arm overhead and "slam dunk" by waving the palm down and up (12 times)
- Repeat with the other arm
- Football flurries - tap the feet as hard and fast as possible, and pump the arms (hands are clenched in fists) as hard and fast as possible
You can repeat the pattern as many times as you wish.
