Cardio Kickboxing
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15515)
- Jab right, left, right, left (4)
- Uppercut right, left, right, left (4)
- Slow hook right, slow hook left (4)
- Speedbag with boxers job legs- weight shifting from the ball of one foot to the other (4)
(Repeat left lead)
Repeat this combo until the class has it down, then add:
- Shuffle left (4)
- Scissor feet with guard up (4)
- Shuffle right (4)
- Squat, squat with power jump (4)
- Shuffle right (4)
- Scissor feet with guard up (4)
- Shuffle left (4)
- Squat, squat with power jump (4)
Break it up with squats, plyometric power squats, pulses, etc.
Then add your third combo:
- Jumping jack then step out to the right with right elbow strike (4)
- Jumping jack with left elbow strike (4)
- Repeat jack/elbow strike to each side (8)
- Right knee strike, right front kick (4)
- Left knee strike, left front kick (4)
- Alternating front push kicks right, left, right, left (8)
