Liz23's November routine
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15523)
Right lead (When I write "starting position" I mean standing in front of step)
Combo #1
- Basic (4)
- V-step (4)
- Triple knee (right foot on step, raising left knee) (8)
- Left - shape on step, towards right (goes like this: basic step on right, 2 counts, then step down to the right of the step on 2, then up again on step with left lead on 2, then down again to starting position, left lead on 2 =8)
- Step-touch on step, 1x left side with right foot lead (4)
- Step-touch on step, 1x right side with left foot lead (4)
Combo #2
- Basic (4)
- Basic double tempo (2) (up on 1, down on 1)
- Walk up on step on two - in normal tempo (2)
- Jump jack - "out and in" on step (2)
- Step down (2)
- Knee lift right lead (right foot on step, raising left) & step down (4)
- Triple knee left lead (left foot on step, rasing right) (8)
- Mambo cha cha cha with right lead on step (4)
- Mambo cha cha cha with left lead on floor, cha cha cha back to starting position (4)
Combo #3
- Leg curl around step (right foot on step, leg curl, step down - one leg on each side of step. 4. Then on step with left foot, leg curl with right, step down on other side of step, turn so facing to the right. Repeat on this side - leg curl right leg on step, down on both, leg curl left, step down so facing starting position again) THIS PROBABLY HAS A FANCY NAME BUT I DONT KNOW IT!! :) ----- TOTAL COUNTS: 16 (Basically, leg curl your way around the step...)
- Another one that's tricky to explain but easy to do: right leg on step. That's 1 count... stretch left leg out laterally. 1 count. Step down over the step with left . (1). Right leg down over the step, crossing the left. (1) Sache (sp?) left, diagonally (2). Sache on right, back to starting point (2). Repeat the 2 above counts, but with left lead, stretching out right leg laterally (2). Over the step: right - left (2). Backwards basic right lead (4)
I hope that made sense
Combo #4
- Run up on step 2x (8)
- Lunge down with 1 foot on step, alternate right/left (8)
- L-shape: up on right, down to the right side of step (4), left then right on step (2), left lead down on left side of step (2) (you are making a T-shape)
- Up on step again, right lead (2), step down on left, & rise left knee x2 (4), step down (2) - to starting position
I need to refresh my step-vocab... but hope you can use some of this anyway!
