Helicopters and heel digs
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15526)
This is a good combo of Hi and Lo movements. The helicopter stuff gets the blood moving. Try it and enjoy.
- 8 - Double step touch HI (right+left) with arms doing a loop the loop like a helicopter
- 4 - Heel dig HI (right+left) with arms moving from hip to shoulder heights in the front
- 4 - Heel dig to the side (right+left) with arms moving from hip to shoulder height from the side
- 8 - Double step touch HI (right+left) with arms doing a loop the loop like a helicopter
- 8 - Single single double toe tap to side (right/left/right/right)
(then you can repeat the block on a left lead foot) (you can also just do 8 tap side (right/left/right/left) and leave out the lead change)
- 8 - T step (I do the arms doing an alternate bicep on 2 steps, then side out at shoulder height, then side in at shoulder height and then the last 2 steps of the bicep curl down again)
- 4 - Lunge back HI with arms alternate foreward (same arm same leg)
- 4 - Lunge side HI (same arms)
- 8 - I-step (step forward right+left, jumping jack, step back right+left, jumping jack)
- 8 - Squat right and left
- 8 - Repeater knee with turn (ok, this is a bit complicated: you do the first knee of the 3 repeater, but then you turn 180 degrees (over 2 beats) and do the other 2 knees as knee steps facing back of class)
- 4 - Half a helicopter (step touch right+left, but basically doing a 180 degree turn back to face the front)
- 4 - V-step right
- 4 - A-step right (to the back)
- 4 - V-step right
- 8 - 2 Charlestons (step right, kick left, step back left, tap back right)
Have fun, and if you have hassles with moves, email me!
