I started teaching a class for over weight children who need excersise in the form of games!!!! This is an idea I came up with when working out with a 10 year old girl.
I made her take a stack of NeoPet cards (pokemon, whatever) and throw them all over the floor. We made a game of picking them up. I gave her a starting card where she squated down to pick it up- then I would make her do something (i.e. 10 karate kicks, alternating knee lifts, jumping jacks, etc.) If she did a good job--she kept the card!! I would then make her do wide legged jumps to the next card I picked (usually far across the room) and do the same thing, squat to pick up card, then some type of cardio. We had a great time, laughed, and she worked!!!! Any more ideas??? Please help me out!! Thanks:-)
