My YMCA assessment pattern (very very simple 64 count)
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15483)
- 16 Beats L-shaped grapevine
- 16 Beats Pony forward + slide hops backwards
- 32 Beats Rocking horses
L-shaped grapevine is: do normal grapevine, then swivel 90 degrees and do another grapevine, then back the same way. for example, if going right:
- Do a grapevine towards right
- Pivot on right foot 90 degrees to right, do another grapevine (facing right wall)
- Grapevine back (still facing right wall)
- Turn 90 degrees to left, pivoting on right foot, do another grapevine (facing forwards)
Pony (going right for example) is:
- Leap (!) to right, land on right foot
- Bounce on left foot
- Bounce on right foot
Pony going left is a mirror of right.
A pony going right (or left) is on 2 beats (1, and, 2)
Rocking horses are:
- Right knee, left ham curl, right knee, left ham curl, right knee, left ham curl, etc etc etc
- (and)
- Left knee, right ham curl, left knee, right ham curl, etc.
Hope you like it..! :D
