Easy on Monday evening
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15444)
I did this yesterday evening and my class loved it because it's not too complicated. All block start with right lead, are 32 counts and self-reversing.
First Block:
- Two march (right, left) (2), cha cha or shuffle (2)
- The same with left (4)
- 2 V-steps (right) (8) one in front, one backwards, or if you like, with a 360-turn
- Double step or chasse right (4)
- Mambo left (4)
- 4 Step touches or scoops (high impact) back, starting left (8)
Repeat left side.
Second Block:
- Grapevine right ending with three knees (8)
- 2 Plié squats left (8), if you like with moving towards left
- 4 Kicks left/right moving forward (8)
- 2 Double knees left/right (8) or do it "cross-over"
Repeat left side.
Third Block:
- 3 Double steps or chasses (12) in form of a diamond (first to the right corner of the room, second to the left and the third horizontal)
- Double side lunge left (4)
- 4 Leg-curls (8) left/right moving back
- 2 Plié-squats left/right (8), if you need more do what I call "triple-pliés" (it's like a normal plié but it ends with a little triple step like a cha cha).
Repeat left side.
If you like you can mix the blocks: first starting right lead, second on left (but don't move forward doing the kicks, stay on the spot) and then the third starting again right. Now you are ready for the first on left and so on.
Have fun! Email me if there are questions.
