Vertical Double Steppin
This is a
Double Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15806)
This is a pattern I did, cause I wanted to add some Hi/Lo moves into it!!

Starting on Left side of Step #1
Combo 1
- Double knee walk forward 2 to step #2 (8)
- Step right onto step #2, side kick left leg/straddle right/step up on left leg/side kick right and exit to the right side of step #2 (8)
- Step touch 4x back to step #1 (8)
- Rocking horse (8)
Combo 2
- Diagonal step #1: start on left side end on right side (4)
- Diagonal step #2: start on right side end on left side (4)
- Turnstep step #2: facing back of room now (4)
- Diagonal step #2: start on left side end on right side (4)
- Diagonal step #1: start on right side end on left side (4)
- Horseshoe step #1: turnstep/straddle/turnstep (8)
- Turnstep step #1: on right side of step so facing front of room (4)
Combo 3
- Step right leg on step #1 and squat, then bring left leg on top of step #1 and step right leg off to right side and squat, then exit competely to right side of step #1 (8)
- Ham curls forward 4x to step #2 (8)
- Repeater kicks on step #2 (8)
- 4x Jacks back to step #1 (8)
Combo 4
- Scoop forward 4x from step #1 to step #2 on left side of both (8)
- Grapevine over or over the top of step #2 to get to right side (4)
- Step out to the right and squat on the floor (4)
- I-step on step #2 with left lead (8)
- Grapevine to step #1 (4)
- Turnstep on step #1 to face front again* (4)
Combo 5
- Up on step #1 from left side and lunge from side to side 2x exiting to the back of step #1 (8)
- Walk the length of step #1 and step #2: step up on the right from the back of step #1, then walk to the end of step #2 (option to skip it for higher intensity). Should step off the front of step #2 right left (10)
- 1 Jumping jack turning to the right facing the right side of the room (2)
- Step knee turn: step onto step #2 with right foot lift left knee while pivoting around to face the back of the room on the right foot (4)
- Travel V: Right V-step on step #2 then slight turn out to the left to right V-step on step #1. You have hustle this move (8)
This routine can either repeat at the end of each combo or repeat at the end of combo 5 to the top of combo 1. I wrote it as repeating after the end of each combo. This is a fun routine and can be made intense especially if you use high intensity with the floor work.
