2 Steps Forward

This is a Cycling pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 15828)

Hi everyone. I was teaching my 1/2 hour cycle class this week, and was quite unprepared which is unusual for me. I grabbed any old cd and decided to wing the class. Well wouldn't you know it was one of the best classes I have ever taught (funny when that happens, eh?). One of the drills I made up on the spot worked brilliantly...2 steps (gears) forward, one step back. Get your riders standing jog at tension 2, a bit of bounce as this is recovery, hold for 32 counts (or whatever you deem is appropriate for them). Add on 2 gears, lose the bounce and hold for 32 counts as this is work phase. Take 1 gear back, recover 32. Now add on two for 32, now take off 1 for 32, etc...etc...until they are begging for mercy!! SOS by Rhianna came on during this drill and it was so perfect...beat was right on and they were are begging me to SOS (save our souls!!!).

Have fun , ride hard!

Jenn
