Beginners Cha cha cha
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15837)
- Cha cha cha to front right corner, lead right,left (4)
- March backwards, lead right to center ** (4)
- Cha cha cha to back right corner, lead left,right (4)
- March backwards, lead left to center ** (4)
- Cha cha cha to back left corner, lead right,left (4)
- March backwards, lead right to center ** (4)
- Cha cha cha to front left corner, lead left,right (4)
- March backwards, lead left to center ** (4)
** On the march backwards you need to march march march tap to change lead leg!
- Alternate hamstring curls (step right curl left for first one) (8)
- Step touch forward right lead (8)
- Step touch back right lead (8)
- Jacks (or half jacks) (8)
Ready to go again for the cha cha cha to front right corner! To change to left leg lead just cha cha cha on left to left front corner and go round the other way.
Some of the less co-ordinated members keep the cha cha cha to a march with a knee lift - also good for seniors.
This is much less complicated than I have made it look and flows quite nicely!
