Kathy's seven knee repeater
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16039)
There are so many combinations I have borrowed from this website which have been fantastic. It has been very rewarding to find smaller combinations with the breakdown added to the notes which I'm sure as an instructor saves a lot of time and is less confusing.
This is a 16 count self-reversing combination which is easy to follow but when thrown in with another combination looks really good.
Combination
- Right lead: Seven knee repeater (16)
- Left lead: Seven knee repeater (16)
- Right lead: Right foot stomp on west corner, left foot stomp to back of room (1- 6) 4 knee repeater (10) (repeat on left lead)
- Right lead: Right foot stomp on west corner, left foot stomp to back of room (1-6), right foot on west end of step, *swivel (7-8), 3 knee repeater same leg (9-16) (repeat on left lead)
- Right lead: Right foot stomp on west corner, left foot stomp to back of room (1-6), right foot swivel (7-8), right foot stays on step, Left leg swings across the front of right leg onto the step and exit right, left (9-13). Single right foot stomp (14 - 16). (repeat left lead)
* Swivel - as you return to the step from the stomp to the back of the room, instead of the repeater knee, leave right foot on west corner, swivel your hips and knee once before continuing knee lift. (You have to leave your foot on the step, only one twist). Some people call it an Elvis or funky knee. Remember it's only two counts.
