We did this in my class this week and had a lot of fun. I took some very basic steps and put them together with both the vertical and horizontal benches.
Set up benches in an L formation like this:
Vertical - V
----
| |
| | inside
| |
----
|---------|
hole | |
|---------|
Horizontal - H
^
|
|
outside -->
Reverse starting on the horizontal bench
Reverse starting on the vertical bench (starting with left lead glute repeater)
* Two stomps up the bench on the inside (1-2) straddle (3-4) two stomps back on the outside (5-6) exit outside (7-8)
Reverse starting on the horizontal bench
** Right lead step knee (1-2) step left on bench lift right knee (3-4) step right leg behind left on floor and lift left knee (5-6) rock by tapping left foot on bench and shifting weight to right leg on the floor (7-8)
The combinations won't fit together so I did some intensity intervals (ie: jack, leaps, etc.) between each combo before I would set up in front of the next bench. You can also take a water break or pulse check.
