This is another variation on pattern # 14721 I submitted in Dec. 2004. 32 counts, reversing, tap-free. I consider this an intermediate level combo. My class this morning loved it.
* V Cross, cha cha cha = (for a right lead) hangover V off W end; cross right foot in front of left as in a mambo (counts 1-4). Then cha cha back to home position (counts 5 and 6) on a slight diagonal so you are ready to reverse up.
** Broadway or karate knee = (for a right lead) step knee on SW corner (1,2); walk back on a diagonal (3,4,5); kick right leg (6); walk back to SW corner (7,8).
The optional figure 8 = begin turning clockwise (in toward your board) on the walk counts 3,4,5. Finish by doing a knee-up hop-turn on count 6 - also clockwise. Finish by walking back to where you started. For a Left lead, the turns would be counter-clockwise.
Have fun. Feel free to email me with questions or other variations you think up!
