Sonia's Flick Kick and Stomp Combo

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 15606)

This combo evolved from the "Quick and Easy One From Jacque" posted on December 21, 2005. Thanks Jacque!

I used her combo during the warmup and then just kept changing and rearranging and here is what I ended up with.

Horizontal step, 32 count, self-reversing, tapless.

Flick Kick and Stomp Combo:

Repeat left

Note: just to help clarify, the first 16 counts are done around the world.

Option: for those who don't like to pivot or cha cha cha the pivots can also be done as mambo (1,2) march march (3,4), and repeat. The crossover cha cha cha has to be done as is though.


Flick Kick:
1) step or hop up right at the left corner,
2,3) give two small kicks as if trying to flick something off your shoe,
4,5) straddle down left and right.

Crossover Cha Cha Cha:
This begins from a straddle position:
1) cross the right foot over the left foot on the floor,
2) the left foot steps out to the side on the floor,
3&4) cha cha cha turning in toward the step.
