Sonia's ABC's of Step (Intermediate Routine OO)
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15608)
Intermediate level, tapless, 32 count combos for a horizontal step with a side approach.
Combo 1
- Right, Up up straddle down, up up off the front right and left to face the back (8)
- Right, 2x Traveling jump shots (8)
- Right, Repeat the first 8 counts exiting on the home side right and left to face the front (8)
- Right, L-kick repeater (8)*
Repeat left
Combo 2
- Right, 3 Stomps and rock back (or stomp top, floor in front, top and rock back) (8)
- Right, Shufflestroll (8)**
- Left, Step up and lunge left/right/left, exit home right and left to face the step (10)
- Right, Step up right, swing the left foot forward, cross the left foot in front of the right shin, swing it forward again, exit left/right (6)...the left leg is lifted and moves in a slight swinging motion from the knee on counts 2,3,4.
Repeat left
Combo 3
- Right, 2x Mambo (8)
- Right, Double knee lift, run on top left/right, exit left/right (8)
- Left, 4x Traveling hamcurl or hamcurls around the world (16)
Repeat left
Footwork:
*L-kick repeater:
1) step up right at the left corner,
2) kick the left leg forward,
3) touch the left foot to the floor,
4) abduct the left leg,
5) touch the left foot to the floor,
6) kick the left leg forward,
7,8) exit the step left and right.
**Shufflestroll:
1&2) shuffle forward on the long side of the step right/left/right,
3,4) walk away from the step left/right,
5,6) pivot 180 degrees (left steps forward, turn in toward the step),
7,8) walk to the step left/right.
