Sonia's ABC's of Step (Routine RR, Intermediate)

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 15630)

Because the step is vertical and there is straddling and facing the step horizontally at times I would not use this with beginning steppers. A basic class that is familiar with vertical stepping would probably be fine.

Combos are 32 counts, tapless, and self-reversing. Begin with your right side to the left side of the step. Right/left indicates which foot is starting/leading.

Footwork:

*I-step:
1-4) up right/left, straddle down right/left,
5,6) step up right/left,
7-10) pony (cha cha cha) forward on the step right/left/right, then left/right/left
11-12) straddle down right/left,
13-16) up right/left, exit to your right stepping off right and left to face the step.

**Broken Repeater:
1,2) step up right, knee up left,
3-5) tap the toes to the floor 3x in a small half circle - can hop a little with each tap to add some oomph - move the tapping foot back on the half circle,
7,8) exit the step left and right to face the front.
