Kickin' 11 step

(away) (home)
As always, begin with your favorite stretches and warm-up patterns! Then, combos start with home step!
Combo 1
- Basic left 2x's
- Roundhouse kick (right) 4x's
- Straddle strap (right) one near, center, and far.
- 3 Repeater knees (left), exit in between steps.
- Straddle step START ON TOP OF STEPS LEFT/RIGHT 4x's (you can keep it basic or add hop on 3 count, clap on 4 count)
- Shuffle back 4 counts / jab (left) / cross (right) / back kick (right) counts 1-4
- Grapevine right/left 4's
Combo #2 (away step)
- Front thrust kick (right) 4x's
- Tap off (right), turnstep one time then switch steps and turnstep once more. (back at home step)
- Repeater front thrust kick (left) 3x's
- Walk it around to the right of your home step right/left/right/left
- V-step (right) lead 4x's. (arms jab right/left) add 2 hops on floor with 2 claps or keep it basic V-step. (2 counts of 8)
- Shuffle (left) 4 counts, 2 jacks
- Shuffle back (right) and repeat jacks
- 2 Jog steps (right)
- Zig-Zag step (touch tap right/left on step, step over to floor to left left/right switch to away step touch tap on step right/left again and step over away step again touch tap left/right on floor (8 counts total)
- Bob and weave (right) 1x, turn (right) and bob and weave again, then repeat that (right) turn 2 more times making a square taking you to the back of the away step. (8 counts total)
Combo #3 (away step)
- Back leg extension travel 4x's start with (left) on away step and alternate leg to home. (arms are backhand slap)
- 4 Half-jacks back push arms to front
- 2 Step squats to left with double arm face block
- Jump rope forward 4 counts
Repeat entire routine starting with away step!!! Change your lead leg! Lots of fun and it keeps everyone thinking and moving, so they really burn alot of calories while time flies by!!!! (just remember your leads change and walking around the step, etc. changes as well!)
