Rolling Hills
This is a

(pattern 15950)
Here is the class I did last night. It's a strength profile, so I reminded the members several times during class to listen to their bodies and take little breaks if/when they needed them... since I wasn't giving them any!
Very simple profile of rolling hills:
- "So Much To Say" - Dave Matthews Band - Warm-up
- "Let Forever Be" - Chemical Brothers - Seated climb, about 4 minutes
- "I Disappear" - The Faint - Fast flat, 100 rpms, 4 minutes
- "Miss You" - Rolling Stones - Seated climb, just under 5 minutes
- "She Comes In Colors" - The Hooters - Flat road, alternating one minute seated and one minute standing, just over 4 minutes
- "Get Busy" by Sean Paul and "Unbelievable" by EMF - 7+ minute climb, sit for 1:45 or 2 minutes, then add resistance and stand for 45 seconds... when you sit back down, keep that added resistance on the wheel... repeat 3 times
- "Worldwide Suicide" - Pearl Jam - Fast flat, 110 rpms
- "Love and Peace or Else" by U2 and "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac - longest climb, just over 9 minutes. Keep a steady resistance (I had them at a level 7 out of 10), and stay in the saddle. At the end of each song there's a tempo change (subtle on the U2 song, but it kicks in at the end) -- stand and ATTACK during those tempo changes. The first one is ~35 seconds, and the second one is just under one minute
- "Sorry" - Madonna - fast flat, same as the Hooters song but stand/sit for 30 second intervals instead of one minute each
- "Steady As She Goes" by The Raconteurs and "Four Sticks" by Led Zeppelin - last climb of the day, same as the "Get Busy" one with intervals of standing and sitting
- "Woman" - Wolfmother - IF you have time at this point, you can use this as a fast flat, otherwise start to cool down
- "Night Fire Dance" - Andreas Vollenweider - cooldown/stretch
Total time = 62 minutes
This profile does NOT give a lot of time for a long cooldown, so modify it according to your class' needs! Enjoy.
