Kiran Sawhney's Alphetical Body Conditioning

This class I made very interesting. Taking from my earlier step pattern on similar lines, I developed this one. It gave a very interesting workout, the class had fun and worked on almost all body parts.
In the beginning I announced that I was going to teach them alphabets. A was no more apple and B was no more bat. Everything was going to be learnt, as they say, 'from the top." As I went abount telling them, what each alphabet was, they kept doing the moves repeating for a minute or so. So here is my list. Of course the workout first started with warm up and had good cool down in the end.

- A- Absolutely abs- put your favourite ab routines
- B- Bars- have some sculpting with bars, bicep curl
- C- Crunches
- D- Deadlift
- E- Extension- tricep overhead extension
- F- Front raise with dumbell, flyes
- G- Glute squeeze
- H- Heel raise, hammer curl, hundreds from pilates
- I- Incline bench press
- J- Jump squats
- K- Knee ups
- L- Lateral raise, lunges
- M-
- N-
- O- Overhead press
- P- Push ups, pullovers, pilates moves, plie, plank
- Q- Quadriceps- work your quads
- R- Rhomboid rows, reverse curl
- S- Side leg raise, sit ups, squats
- T- Tricep dips, tricep kickbacks
- U- Upright rows
- V-
- W- Warrior yoga stretch
- X- Prone position, make X out of your body- feet apart, hands apart, sky diving position. Ask the class to hold, works wonders on the back.
- Y- Yoga stretch
- Z-
