L is for Laura-Double Step

This is a Double Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 15925)

Put two benches into an L shape. The horizontal bench is Home the vertical is Away. Here are two 64-count combos.

              I
              I
              I
                IIIII

Combo 1

Repeat on left lead

Combo 2

Repeat on left lead

* Sometimes it's called a weave on this site. Step up on bench right (1), left leg swings behind right (2), step down on floor left, right (3,4)

** Step up left (1), turning the body, step up right (1), back off left, right (3,4)...essentially it's a basic but turn it around so you end up facing the opposite direction on the other side of the bench

*** (diagonal over) step on top (1,2), step left and right on the floor (3,4), pivot on the left foot (5,6), take two steps to get back to the bench (7,8), facing the back of the room

**** Step up left, right (1,2), lunge back left leg, right leg, (3-6), back off (7,8)

I hope you understand this because it is very fun. Please email me if you have questions.
