Lethal Leslie #40

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 15931)

So, I made some time to type out explanations and added two more combos. I hope I explained everything. If not, I'm sure I'll hear about it:) As always, horizontal step, tapless, advanced.

Combo 1

* V box cha cha - up in a V-step right left (1,2), right foot crosses over left foot and goes to the floor at left end of step (3), left foot to the floor beside right foot (4), cha cha cha to right corner (5 & 6)

* Stomp reverse 2 stomps down (6) - left lead from the top at the north side of the step, left foot stomps the floor & right foot lifts (1), right foot up (2), left foot up wide to opposite end (3), right foot stomps the floor & left foot lifts (4), left foot stomps step (5), right foot stomps the floor again & left foot is in the air (6). Or, for counts 4 -6: 4 is the same actually, left foot stomps the floor behind the right foot (a back mambo) (5) & right foot lifts slightly, right foot back in the same spot and left foot comes up and moves forward ready for the mambo cha cha (6)

Combo 2

* 3 knees home - 3 alternating knees on top facing the front and exiting to the south side

Combo 3

* Rhythm orbit (8) - I posted this on the moves board, but I'll explain it again. It's long, I'm just cut & pasting.

I call it rhythm orbit, because I didn't want to say "rhythm on top exit front chasse turn."

Basic version is just a regular orbit. Some people call it revolve, or over turn even. Your participants can always stick with the orbit if they want.

Assume a right lead facing west, up on top right, left (1,2), hop on top with both feet (3), exit to the south side right, left (4,5), now you should be facing the back, finish with a chasse turn over the step (6&7,8).

The chasse turn: assuming a right lead here, right foot to the top of the step (6), left foot to the top of the step and the right foot lifts off (&), right foot to the floor on the south side of the step (slightly turning to face north) (7), left foot to the floor beside the right facing north again (8).

Then I change the up on top and hop to: right foot up at the west corner (1), left foot on top behind the right foot in the middle of the step (or a little further back) (2), now switch the feet, the right foot goes back and the left foot comes forward switching places (& 3), exit to the north side of the step right left (4,5), then finish with the chasse turn.

Rhythm off the ends - an option for stomp the bug. Assume right lead, right foot on step at left corner (1), left foot to the floor and right foot lifts (&), right foot back on the step and left foot lifts (2), exit back home left right (3,4), repeat left lead

Combo 4

To me it's self explanatory but I'll explain a few things.

* Shuffle mambo mambo step hop: right lead on south side of the step, shuffle down the board (1&2) (left foot is in the air), left foot stomps the floor ahead at the end of the step & right foot lifts slightly (3), right foot back on the step & left foot lifts (4), left foot stomps the floor behind the right foot on the south side of the step & right foot lifts slightly (5), right foot back on the step (6) and left foot is in the air. Now the basic version is to exit left right (7,8) and do a basic step (4 counts).

Advanced version after the left foot is in the air, after count 6, left foot goes to the floor beside the step a little bit away (7), hop on the left foot again & bringing the right leg out to the side in an aerobesque (spelling?) (8), then here's the box step and cha cha cha back to the step to the right end (1,2,3&4).

Enjoy!
