Pattern

Pattern 1 Progression and discription of moves. As this pattern builds you are working everything evenly on the right and left without repeating the whole pattern on the right and left. Later on when you cut it down it then becomes right lead and then left lead.

Over squat 2 over turn in 2x (16)*

*While the participants are doing the repeater on this layer I show the over squat 2 over turn in. You go over the bench and you keep 1 foot on the bench. You squat 2 quick pulses then you push back over the top and you turn in a repeat that on the other leg. So you push up on counts 1 and 6. I cue it as Over Squat once they get it. I repeat that move until everyone is comfortable with it. Remember that it started at a 3 knee repeater and that it can stay that way if a participant does not want to modify it.

We now add the L-steps

** Knee up (1,2) squat & hold (3,4) tic toc (5,6) step down (7,8)

*** Knee up and turn to face end of bench (1,2) 3 quick switches on the end of bench (3,4,5) knee up turn to face front of room (6) step down (7,8)

**** Knee up (1,2) bounce toe to floor 2x leg is still on bench (3,4) cross leg that was on the bench over the leg that was bouncing (5,6) and shuffle on floor to other end of bench (7 and 8)

Remember that the tic toc, quick feet, and shuffle L-steps are options. they started as L-steps so they have to do them.

We now cut this down some
