Hi-Intensity Shallow Workout
This is an
Aquatic pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 15846)
A 32 count choreographed shallow water routine sure to be fun!
This pattern starts with everyone walking backwards in the pool, so you might request everyone to move slightly forward at the start of the routine:
- March left lead
- Walk backward 4 steps (8 counts) then turn over your left shoulder and continue walking to the back of the pool, but now walk forward another 4 steps (8 counts)
- March in place 8 (16 counts) while pumping arms up and down overhead
- Repeat walking backward again on the left lead, turn again over your left shoulder and walk forward 8 more counts (4 steps). This will place you back in the front of the pool
- March in place 8 (16 counts) again while pumping arms up and down
- Repeat above as needed until everyone is turning in the correct direction
- 8 Rocking horses left lead (16 counts)
- 8 Knee repeaters right lead (16 counts)
- Double step touch to the right (8 counts)
- March (skip) in place for 8 counts
- Double step touch to the left (8 counts)
- March (skip) in place for 8 counts
Repeat entire combination on opposite lead
To increase intensity, substitute a high knee jog in place of the walk when going backward and a run through the water instead of the walk when going forward.
