Flick-Kick Stomp from Jacque

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 16171)

32 counts, reversing, tapfree, horizontal board. Breakdown follows.

* Option: pivot on the floor in place of the second stomp. You will stomp the board moving toward the end (1), step on the floor at end of board (2), then step toward the back of the room (3), walk toward the back of the room & into a pivot (4,5), walk back to the board (at the small end) (6). You are ready to go across the top long.

** I cue this entire move 'change-your-mind-twice'. Maybe someone has a better cue? email me!

*** Double squat is counts 1-3, then power across on 4, exit and walk or spin around the end counts 5,6,7,8.


Base Part 1 =
Double stomp corner-corner (10) + single stomps corner-corner (6)
+ 1 basic + 3 alternating knees (16) (this is filler that will eventually go away).

Layer 1 = change the double stomps to 'flick-kicks' (step-kick-kick-exit)

Layer 2 = demo taking the single stomps around the corner. Do the basic on the end, then come back to them on the alternating knees.

Base Part 2 =
March on top 8 + exit + 2 knee repeater (16).

Layer 1 = demo going up,up, & march off each end before exiting.

Layer 2 = replace the exit + 2 knee repeater with the double squat off the end, across and walk around the corner.

Next: Go back & do Part 1. Hold on the end with a few basics. Insert Part 2 which will begin from the end instead of from the home position. Fill in the phrase with a move that you'll use for the base of your next combo.

Final: Get rid of the basics & other filler.
