Fall Hi-Lo
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16124)
I.
- Grapevine right, left - in an L/ Ham curl to front 4x
- Chasse right/ 2 ham curls/ Chasse left/ 2 Ham curls
- Mambo across front to left with right foot with cha cha cha
- Repeat mambo 3 more times - alternate lead foot each time
- Mambo across to left with right foot 2 1/2 times/ 3 ham curls
II.
- Slide right, heel tap forward left - slide left, heel forward right- 2 sets
- Heels forward 4x/ right heel, tap, knee lift/ left heel, tap, knee *
- Slide left, knee lift right - slide right, knee lift left - 2 sets
- Knees moving back 4 times/ heel, tap, knee lift 2 times
III.
- Hustle for and back 4 times - turn 1/4 each time to make a square
- Step knee, walk walk - 2 sets - moving backwards/ double hustle forward 2 times
- Step knee, walk walk back 2 times/ knees forward single, single, double
IV.
- **March wide 3 times, knee lift - 4 sets
- 4 Single knee lifts/ Double knee lifts left, right
- Grapevine right, left with turn to back - repeat turning forward
- Jog forward 4/ 2 jumping jacks/ jog back 4/ 2 jumping jacks
* Heel,tap, knee is all on the same leg - bring heel forward, tap it down, bring knee up
** I call this a "football march"
All combos start on the right foot, are self-reversing and are 64 count combinations.
This routine is very easy to do High or Low and I always encourage my class to work at their own level. Have fun!!!
