Senior kickbox
This is a

I do a low low impact class with my seniors. Here is a sampling of our class. We meet every Mon, Wed, and Fri and on Wed's I alternate between kickbox or step. They really enjoy the extra challenge.
- March 2,3 knee up
- Change to march 2,3 front kick.
- Move this forward:
Right lead:
- Walk 2, 3 front kick
- Back 2, 3 knee up.
- Grapevine right, right elbow and left cross.
Left lead:
- Walk forward 2,3, front kick
- Back 2,3 knee up
- Left grapevine, left elbow and left cross.
I have them bob and weave and get into right fighters stance and we practice the punches (jab, cross, hook upper) then do the 4 punch combo nice and slow.
We then add a right knee and a right side kick.
The combo goes as follows:
- Jab, cross, hook, upper
- Knee, sidekick, knee, sidekick.
- Light boxer shuffle around to left fighters stance and repeat other side.
I am constantly reminding them to keep their knees soft and work at their own level.
Let me know if you have any questions.
