V-sits with elbows 2 knees
This is an
Abs pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16101)
I came on the website to find some new ab routines and found there weren't many more since my last entry in January, so I thought I'd give you AB freaks a new one.
V-SITS
- Sit on your bum on a mat.
- Hold your legs straight out about 2 feet off the floor.
- Arms straight forward parallel to the floor (palms facing down)
- Torso leans back at 45 degrees (Your legs and torso make the shape of a V, and you are sitting-thus the name V-sit)
- 1-Hold the V-SIT position for 2 sets of 8
- 2-Pulse legs and torso for 2 sets of 8 (small pulses)
- 3-Bring right elbow to left knee, then left elbow to right knee, alternating for 4 sets of 8
- Rest- for 1 set of eight sitting up and hugging knees (to stretch your back out)
REPEAT 1 through 3
The second set will feel like death. If it is too hard, you can half the second set (i.e. 1 set of 8 hold, 1 set of 8 pulse, 2 sets of elbows 2 knees) but it will still hurt so psych yourself out.
Let me know what your class thinks- I love feedback and am always looking to improve my game.
