Work Ride
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16110)
My classes love the theme rides and it makes for an interesting mix of songs.
- Working For The Man - Roy Orbison 2:28 (warm up)
- Get a Job - Silhouettes 2:26 (warm up)
- 9 To 5 - Dolly Parton 2:48
- Working In The Coal Mine - Lee Dorsey 2:48
- Bang On The Drum All Day - Todd Rundgren 3:33
- Chain Gang - Sam Cooke 2:34
- Summertime Blues - Eddie Cochrane 1:58
- Land Down Under - Men at Work 3:45
- Working On The Highway - Bruce Springsteen 3:15
- The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades 3:21
- Working for the Weekend - Loverboy 3:42
- Waitin' For The Bus - ZZ Top 2:53
- Working At The Carwash - The Coasters 2:56
- Get a Haircut and Get a Real Job - George Thorogood 4:10
- Taking Care Of Business - BTO 4:54
- Hey Julie - Fountains of Wayne 2:37 (cool down)
I split the class into three parts:
Part I: Rolling hills and some flats, riding our bikes to work.
Part II: Get to work, but forgot something (badge? Laptop?). So reverse what ever the ride was to work back home.
Part III: Take another route back to work, but make it hilly and make them move faster since we are very late by this time.
