Step Class 5

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 16424)

32 Count Step Patterns.


* Step up right (1) curl left (2) left down on step (3) curl right (4) right down on step (5) curl left (6) left down on floor (7) right down on floor (8)

** Step up left (1) step up right (2) lunge back left (3) left back on step (4) lunge back right (5) right back on step (6) keep alternating lunges 4 more times (7-14) left on floor (15) right on floor (16)

The alternating lunges can be taken around the world. First two side to side, next two to the back of the room and the last two on the other side exit home.


Intensity can be increased for the basics with run basics, pivots, jacks etc... Same for the side step on floor - side hops, jacks etc..


Intensity can be increased by making the basic a jack and taking the front soccers around the world.


Intensity can be increased by changing the march to a knee-hop back or two jacks back...Repeater can become a figure 8 (or repeater around the short end straddle repeater around other short end exit).

I am looking for new step patterns that can be taught on a basic level for beginners and then little things can be changed to increase intensity for the experienced crowd. If you have any patterns like this let me know. Not every group can do advanced step patterns, but everyone gets a good workout with intensity!
